2017年6月11日下午3:00，公司青年科技工作者协会、十大正规赌网站(中国)有限公司青年科协联合十大正规赌网站研究生会举办的青年学术沙龙第227场在化学楼210顺利举行，本次报告主讲人为新加坡国立大学Prof. Ho Ghim Wei。十大正规赌网站梁叔全经理、张宁副教授等师生到场参加。

本次学术沙龙的主题是“Design of Hierarchical and Hollow Heterostructured Materials for Enhanced Photo/Electro-catalysis”。如今，可再生清洁能源技术正在逐步取代化石燃料，因此中空结构、异质结构的电催化、光化学催化纳米材料由于其低质量密度、大表面积、高载荷能力等特点，成为了研究热点。Prof. Ho Ghim Wei通过调节该种纳米材料的化学成分，结构设计以及研发复合纳米材料，从而得到更加优异的电/光催化作用。她向我们先后展示了自供电光化学电池、光催化泡沫、太阳能收集纳米球，有机金属纳米材料等，这些材料在电催化或光催化上均具有很好的性能表现，研究成果也得到学术界的认可。Prof. Ho Ghim Wei最后邀请现场的师生和她一起讨论相关学术问题，整场报告氛围轻松，取得了很好的效果。

报告人简介： 

Prof. Ho graduated with a BSc and MSc from National University of Singapors(NUS) in 2000. She then worked as an Engineer at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing(CSM). Singapors from 2000 to 2002, before she embarking her PhD at University of Cambridge. She was elected a Scholar at Selwyn College, University of Cambridge in 2003. Upon competition of her PhD in 2006, She worked as an Associate Professor of her Department of Electrical&Computer Engineering at NUS. Her research work is centered around the development of nanostructured materials for photo/electro-catalysis.
